so i took this picture of lauren graham about two years ago and the reason i am posting it is because instead of getting stuff i really needed to get done today, i blew everything off and marathoned parenthood cause i needed to catch up on it and also i needed a day in bed, and now i miss her. LOL. when she was here doing guys & dolls, not only did i go see the show but one of the acting schools i go to is right in the theatre district so i would go down to the nederlander and be like whaddup lauren…a lot. i wonder if she would still remember me cause i think i met her probably like 10 times. she is exactly like lorelai and just like, starts talking and talking which is so hilarious bc most celebs are just like OH YOU’RE SO SWEET THANKS *turns around* but not her. and i really think she was amazing in guys & dolls and so were oliver<3 (who also ALWAYS made awesome conversation), kate, craig, and everyone else. i hate that there were some bad reviews and that it closed quickly bc i really enjoyed the production so much. sure they had some big shoes to fill (marlon brando and frank sinatra?!?!) but they did a great job. it’s one of my favorite productions i’ve ever seen, not just bc of the actors but the set design was my favorite i’ve ever seen on the broadway stage. and i miss when i would have a bad day and decide it would be better if i got to talk to lorelai gilmore so i’d walk down to 41st and wait by the door. and she talked to me every time even though she probably thought i was a stalker. ok i’m done being creepy. but seriously i miss lauren and i forgot how much i LOVE parenthood. lauren and dax shepard are the best parts of it but i love everything. so watch it if you haven’t.
