Oh my God, I love her more and more every time I see her. This has been going on for years and years, as she is the beating heart of my favorite movie, Almost Famous. I love her outfit here. She always changes it up but never looks stupid. Like, certain people are known for looking a certain way but she is always dressed in different styles and looks good no matter what.

I am not going to get into the layers of my Kate Hudson love (though I could! ask Philip Seymour Hoffman) but I will say that the other day, someone who I usually like was telling me how Kate “gives her the creeps” and she just doesn’t like the way she acts and also, that she’s not that pretty. Of course I have since ceased contact with this person.

Last night she was on Jimmy Fallon (have we decided what to say yet? on Jimmy? on Fallon? can someone tell me?) and they are old friends b/c he is also in the masterpiece that is Almost Famous. I love when people Jimmy knows are on, like Drew Barrymore or Tina Fey, or really any SNL person b/c it just ends up being this love fest and them talking about getting drunk and partying and everything. Which is exactly what happened with Kate. I can’t get into it because I AM GOING TO A PRIVATE SCREENING OF IT’S COMPLICATED, OH MY GOD, BUT YOU SHOULD WATCH THE INTERVIEW ON NBC.COM!! OK!! BYE!!

I have to do this too, but it is going to be quite a chore because I’m too obsessed with movies and even with the hours upon hours I spend watching film after film, there are still TONS from this decade I know i’ll love and haven’t had time for.

Once upon a time there was this good little film that was ruined by Kristen Stewart.

And then she annoyed the hell out of me in Twilight (which I might have like otherwise *gasp*).

this is absolutely no defense of kristen stewart because i don’t like her but i’m pretty sure in the land of women was ruined by the script and the directing. because honestly that was one of the worst written movies ever.

Kristen Stewart is one of the worst actresses I have seen on screen in years. Not only that, she has absolutely no star quality, no presence. I think Scarlett Johansson is a terrible actress as well but she is certainly a star which is why I understand why she is consistently cast. The only reason Kristen is lucky enough to be in films is because of her average, girl-next-door quality which makes young girls able to relate to her. All that said, she is absolutely, 100 percent NOT the reason why In The Land of Women is one of the most hilariously bad movies of all time. She is a grand cog in the machine of fail that is In The Land of Women, but it’s not her fault. My favorite part is when Adam Brody and Meg Ryan (two people who belong in, and thank God usually make better movies) are walking down the street and inexplicably, a clown gets out of a car, takes balloons out of his trunk, and walks away. As someone who has been on film and TV sets, I know the work put into every detail of a movie and the fact that this was planned, this man was hired and fitted for a clown costume, someone in make-up painted his face, an AD directed him, etc… just kills me. KILLS ME. One of the worst ever.
