Don’t pass this by because it’s Ke$ha. It’s completely the opposite of what you’d expect. She recorded it a long time ago, and she should put out this type of music forever.

my respect for her just increased from -113% to about -111.8%. mainly because she never should have sold out and changed from this, to what she is now…

^  This boys and girls is a classic example of talent going to fucking shit.  I think I’ve lost even more respect for her.  At least before I believed she was just a talentless hack, and that she was just compensating for her lack of talent with a lot glitter and jazz.  This makes all the other shit just… money. 

It’s sad that she had to give this up and be who she is now just to make money, cause truth be told, she wouldn’t get to where she is with this type of music. Though she would definitely be taken much more seriously. It’s really sad.
I hate Ke$ha’s image now, but I’m sure if she had remained this way I would be a fan.

Are you people joking? It’s funny how people who aren’t performers constantly judge performers for putting out radio friendly shit instead of strumming a sad song they wrote on a guitar. God forbid they take advantage of a BREAK. Everyone is looking for that break. I would die for one. Not for the money, for the shot at a real career in show business. Do you have any fucking idea how hard it is to get into ANY facet of show business? I would sell out if I had to. I would sing ANYTHING if it meant having a record deal and so would any performer who has been at it for more than a month. Ke$ha is now an established artist in this business with good sales and hit records, yeah she may be famous for singing (poorly) about whiskey and glitter, but she is getting to do what she loves for a living. She made it. In the future, she’ll probably get to do whatever she wants. Trust me, selling out ain’t so bad. You may have “lost respect” for her cause she sings shit like Tik Tok, but at least you know who the fuck she is. God damn it.
